What is VoIP?

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a technology that allows you to access your phone system and make phone calls over the internet rather than a traditional landline. This technology converts your voice into a digital signal, allowing you to make a call directly from a computer, a VoIP desk phone, or mobile devices. VoIP achieves greater functionality and accessibility at a lower cost for businesses.

Can I use my current VoIP phones, or do I need to buy new ones?

Although we offer a variety of hardware options for purchase, it is likely that an out-of-pocket expense is not necessary. In most cases, existing VoIP phones can be re-provisioned to our platform. Another option is to do away with desk phones completely and instead use our mobile app or Softphone via your PC and headset.

How many calls can I receive at a time?

Unlike traditional analog phone systems that require roll over lines, VoIP can handle as many simultaneous calls as your devices and users can handle. The Call Queue feature allows for callers to hear on hold music while waiting for a representative instead of getting a busy signal.

What features can I use with VoIP?

What voice quality can I expect?

If your network is healthy, you can expect better voice quality from your VoIP calls than any call coming through a landline. We recommend speaking to one of our consultants to identify your network’s health.

Can I keep my phone number?

Yes! We offer free number port-in. As we port your numbers, we provide you with a masked temporary number that makes the transition seamless. Porting takes 5 – 7 business days to complete.

Can I choose my own area code and phone number?

Yes! Our phone number inventory consists of thousands of local, long-distance, and Toll-Free phone numbers for you to choose from. We can provide you options by area code or state locality.

Will my main number show my business name as the caller ID?

Yes! At the time of porting, we will assign the caller ID for your main business number. The caller ID is limited to 15 characters and completes shortly after the port is complete.

What are the international rates?

Rates depend on the country you are calling. For a rate list, contact us at (530) ONE-STOP.

Do I need a computer to make calls?

Not necessarily. Our platform allows you to make calls using an IP desk phone, our mobile app, or any other device that has internet access.

Is VoIP secure?

We needed new VoIP Phone service and internet because the area we are at in Redlands in has super slow internet. We couldn't find another company that could help us. They came out and set us up on 5g internet, set us up with a new router and wifi, new phones and to top it off, even helped us troubleshoot, repair , and move our cameras. Great service!
