The Challenge
As inflation has risen, so has the cost of phone and internet services for Dr Wu. However, the rising prices did not come with additional features, services, or bandwidth. While other businesses in his area seemed to be getting internet speeds that were much faster than his, it was not available to his office building unit. When traveling internationally, he would sometimes find it a challenge to keep in contact with his patients due to high international rates. He wanted more from his service providers and did not want to be stuck in a long-term contract.
The Solution
One Stop Telecom arranged the installation of a fiber optic internet circuit for Dr Wu as part of an infrastructure upgrade program in his building while saving him money along the way. He now has internet speeds that are 30 times faster than before, do not require a contract, and offer more stability than the coax service he previously had. Also, by taking advantage of the Hosted VoIP phone service from One Stop Telecom, Dr Wu’s office can receive calls even during a power or internet outage, thanks to the mobile application. Also noteworthy is that he can make calls from any country in the world to the US for the same rate as if he were in his office in Chino, CA. Finally, we upgraded his old traditional fax line to eFax, allowing him to stay connected, even when he is not in the office.
Results
